Raiding with Argent Exodus

Looking to raid with Argent Exodus? First you should know what we look for and how we run raids.

Argent Exodus raids always take Guild Members first, should they be online prior to raid start. Friends of Argent Exodus are sent invites via the In-Game calendar. Should raid time come and there's not enough people signed up, or not enough people in key positions, the Raid Leader will send tells to people who have expressed interest in going on raids. The Raid Leader is always looking to put together a group that will be able to do the content scheduled for the night.

Loot Rules:
Loot Rules are very simple - If an item drops that you can use for your main spec, you reply to the request to call for the item with "Main" and link the item you currently use in raid. If it's an item you can use for offspec, you state "Offspec" in /raid.
Main Specs will ALWAYS have priority over Offspecs, and your Main Spec is the role you are performing in the raid that night.
If multiple people want the same item for their main spec a few things happen. First, we see if they can decide amongst themselves who should get it. Second, if one of the claimees has one loot and the other has not, it generally goes to the one who hasned. Third, if it's a vastly better item for a certain spec, the Raid Leader will say so and assign it. Fourth, if it cannot be decided by any of that, the players will roll, OR the Raid Leader will decide.

What we expect on raids?
Simple, we expect that if you sign up you're there, on time, repaired, and ready to go. If you're going to be a little late, let the Raid Leader know. If your dog caught on fire in real life, try and let someone know. You've got 9 other people depending on you. Finally, be prepared mentally for the raid. Read ahead on boss encounters if you've never done them. Ask questions of people who have done the raids. Don't stand around waiting on loot when it's not something you want or would use... and if you need to AFK... MAKE SURE YOU TELL THE RAID LEADER FIRST.

We understand that people are going to be learning on raids, but to make sure you continue to get invited to raids, you need to show that you are able to learn the encounters, follow instructions, and simply be playing a valuable role in the raid. We wish to move through the raid at a quick pace, so that means we try to minimize dying and speed up the time it takes to buff, rebuff and explain fights. We have 10 spots for people per raid, and if you are not able to be a benefit to the raid, it's likely you won't be brought along untill you can show that you will fill the role required of you. Sometimes that means reading up on your class, or gearing up more in heroic instances. We'll do what we can to help you, but when it comes down to it, the responsibility is on your shoulders.

Argent Exodus Raids are laid back and casual, but we do expect to meet the goals for the night, and that means when it comes down to it, we put our best foot forward.

Currently, Argent Exodus is ONLY tackling 10 man content. AEers are free to PUG 25 man content, but we as that you DO NOT get saved on another raid ID for 10 man.
